The difference between fully biodegradable plastic bags and ordinary plastic bags
Jul 02, 2024
1. The material is different
Fully biodegradable plastic bags (that is, environmentally friendly plastic bags) are made of PLA, PHAs, PBA, PBS and other polymer materials. The non-degradable traditional ordinary plastic bags are made of other plastic materials such as PE.
2. The production standards are different
Fully biodegradable plastic bags need to meet the national standard GB/T21661-2008, which has reached the environmental protection standard. Traditional non-degradable ordinary plastic bags do not need to comply with this standard.
3. The decomposition time is different
Fully biodegradable plastic bags generally decompose within a year, while Olympic eco-friendly plastic bags can even start to decompose 72 days after disposal. Ordinary traditional plastic bags that are non-degradable take 200 years to degrade.
Advantages of using fully biodegradable plastic bags
1. Environmental protection: The use of fully biodegradable plastic bags can greatly reduce the problem that traditional ordinary plastic bags cannot be decomposed and cause white pollution to flood.
2. Excellent performance: fully biodegradable plastic bags use starch as the main raw material, and their degradation ability is better than that of other materials, and their life is longer than that of paper bags, and their cost is lower than that of paper bags.
3. Exquisite and multi-functional: In addition to the different composition and materials of fully biodegradable plastic bags, the functions are the same, which can be beautifully printed, moderately sized and packaged with many products.
4. Recycling: Fully biodegradable plastic bags have the characteristics of softness, wear-resistance, foldability, and good texture, and have a long recycling period.
