Heat resistance
PLA's melting point is usually between 150-160°C (302-320°F), and it can withstand liquids at higher temperatures. In addition, many PLA heat-resistant straws will add some modifiers during the production process to improve the thermal stability of the material. By optimizing the injection molding or extrusion process, the molecular arrangement and structure of the material can be improved, and the heat resistance of PLA straws can be improved.

Safe use
PLA is a bio-based polymer extracted from natural plants such as corn starch. It does not contain chemicals such as BPA (bisphenol A) and phthalates, and meets food contact standards. In addition, PLA materials will not release toxic substances during degradation and will not cause harm to human health. Antibacterial agents are added during the production process to prevent bacteria and microorganisms from multiplying on the surface of the straw, improving the safety of use.

Environmentally friendly
PLA is a biopolymer extracted from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane, which can reduce dependence on non-renewable petroleum resources and reduce carbon footprint; PLA can be completely degraded at temperatures of 50°C to 70°C (122°F to 158°F), converted into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter, reducing the impact of plastic waste on the ecology. And during the degradation process, PLA does not release toxic substances and microplastics.
