Compostable Straw Extrusion Material is a specialized material for producing biodegradable straws through extrusion molding. It is primarily made from renewable resources such as polylactic acid (PLA) and poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT), which are biobased polymers. Processed through precise extrusion techniques, this material exhibits excellent physical properties and biodegradability. It can be fully decomposed into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass by microorganisms in natural environments or under specific industrial and municipal composting conditions, without leaving any harmful residues during degradation. Compostable Straw Extrusion Material effectively reduces plastic pollution and possesses good flexibility and strength, meeting the usage requirements for straw products.

Waterproof and Barrier Properties
Compostable Straw Extrusion Material exhibits excellent waterproof performance, effectively preventing liquid penetration. This characteristic is attributed to its tight molecular structure, which makes it difficult for moisture to pass through. Compared with ordinary paper materials, the waterproof performance of this material is improved by at least 30%, ensuring no leakage during drinking.

 

High and Low Temperature Resistance
Compostable Straw Extrusion Material also possesses outstanding high and low temperature resistance. At high temperatures, it does not easily soften or deform, maintaining stable shape and strength. At low temperatures, it is resistant to brittleness and cracking, ensuring good cold resistance. Within a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C, the material maintains good physical properties and performance.

 

Physical Strength and Durability
Compostable Straw Extrusion Material boasts excellent physical strength, mainly due to its polymer chain structure and advanced extrusion process. With a tensile strength of 35 MPa, it can withstand the pressure and impact of daily use. Compared with traditional paper straws, the durability of this material is increased by about 50%, reducing the frequency of replacement due to damage.
